WHAT ARE FONDAS?

Family run diners, where you can find people from all backgrounds sharing a table. Each neighbourhood in Mexico City has one. We usually know the lady who is running it by name, sometimes the business is passed through generations. Every fonda has traditional home cooked food, they all have a signature salsa.
